Grass is always greener on the other side.........

One of the neighborhood girls was waiting for her school bus, ready in uniform, shoes and plaited hair. She looked at my daughter, who was wearing pajamas, flip-flops and open hair, and the immediate reaction was ,"wow, you are so lucky. You are on vacation". ☺ Well, she happily forgot when she was enjoying mangoes in her "vacation", my daughter was going through exams and projects. But this is what we all do, isn't it? And hence the phrase "Grass is always....."

Lets sit back for a moment and think about it. Why never-ever we think that if Sun and water are on my side then my side grass will be green too.
It is always better or easier to think somebody else is luckier than "me". I have to struggle so much and yet I don't see the expected result. But the question is if our "expected" itself is wrong and what I get is correct? I definitely know it is very easy(for me)to write all that "blah blah....", implementation is really difficult part. Yet I have to try, we have to try to change the color of grass from our side. Life is (always and everywhere) full of comparisons.  But instead of comparing it with somebody else's life, isn't it good to compare with our own life? My Grandma(Aaji) used to tell me that ,"if you can change time machine and go back 5 years, think what all you can change into better. Now, you start acting good so you don't have to use time machine after 5 years"......Yah it was little difficult to digest in college days, but now I really wish, I can work on it.
Lets hope that one fine day, we(particularly myself) will say ,"You are so lucky to live in garden of roses, but jasmine from my patio is beautiful too  "☺
And who knows we all will have green grass everywhere.

but then they might start "Grass is soft and yellow on the other side......."
